‘Sony Xperia Z tablet’ for INR. 44,990
‘Sony Xperia Z tablet’ for INR. 44,990
Sony has always been very aggressive when it comes to launching a product, be it a playstation console or a smartphone or a tablet. The playstation maker has always released their products on time and with some offers to attract costumers.
The latest from their side that has got released in India in the recent time is the Sony Xperia Z tablet that runs on the Android platform. Two of the largest online shopping giants in India, Flipkart and Infibeam are currently taking pre-orders for the ‘Xperia Z tablet’.
Infibeam.com has listed a 32GB Wi-Fi only version for Rs. 44,990 and has mentioned that this tablet will be available from June 3, 2013 and will be shipped in 2-3 business days post its launch. Flipkart.com on the other hand has listed a 16GB 3G version for the same price.
Both, flipkart and infibeam are offering a leather case with every Sony Xperia Z tablet purchased.
The Xperia Tablet Z sports a 10.1-inch screen with full-HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) display. It runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. The tablet comes with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage of the tablet can be further expanded via a microSD card.
The tablet looks pretty solid on the specs sheet but the real question here is, will you buy one for such hefty price?
Surely tablet from Sony isn’t the best we have seen in the recent times and surely is not the favorite one for buyers specially after looking at this price.
Indians being very sensitive to the price, Sony surely has no winner in hands. For INR. 44,990, one can buy a full pledged 32 GB Version of Apple iPad 4and still save some money. Again with the same amount of money one can buy two ipad minis (wifi only version)
Again, many think if it is an android tablet, why pay that much if there’s one available for just INR. 5000.
So its basically onto the user, whether he is a power user or a general email checking user. Paying some Rs. 45,000 for a tablet that’s been made for the first time and is the first try of Sony.
So its up to you, whether or not, you will get that device after paying such a huge amount…..
