ZUK Z1(Lenovo) : 5.5-inch screen,3GBRAM with 4,100mAh battery

A new brand is born and its first phone aims to impress – meet the Lenovo-owned ZUK and the ZUK Z1. A metal frame holds the 5.5″ IPS screen with 1080p resolution, the back is glossy plastic. The phone itself is 8.9mm thick, which thankfully means a beefy 4,100mAh battery. It comes with a fast 2.5A charger too.
The ZUK Z1 is powered by Android, of course, version 5.1 skinned with the in-house ZUI software. It runs on a Snapdragon 801 chipset rather than Qualcomm’s new 64 bit models. It’s hooked up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (no microSD, 53.6GB free).

The 13MP rear-facing camera comes with a Sony sensor (IMX214) and guess what? It has OIS. An 8MP front-facing snapper uses an OmniVision sensor and is ready to snap selfies and handle video chat. A generous 4100mAh battery keeps the generator humming, and Android 5.1.1 is pre-installed.

Other features include a fingerprint scanner, which is embedded in the “home button,” and the USB Type-C 3.0 port which is on board. The phone measures 8.9mm thick, and weighs in at 175 grams. The ZUK Z1 has dual SIM slots and is priced at the equivalent of $285 USD. You can purchase the phone in white or grey. There is no word yet on when the phone will launch.
