Swipe has announced the launch of a 7-inch dual-SIM Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet for Rs. 6,990. The tablet boasts of a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and a 3400mAh battery.
Swipe Telecom has added a tablet to its portfolio boasting of dual-SIM capabilities. Christened the Halo Value, the tablet has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. It also houses a 1GHz processor along with 512MB of RAM. The tablet has 4GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The rear has a 2MP camera and the front has a 0.3MP camera for video calling.
In terms of its connectivity options, the Swipe Halo Value has Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 2G dual-SIM. It has a 3400mAh battery. The device is 10.9mm thin and weighs a mere 335 grams.
The Swipe Halo isn’t the first tablet to hit store shelves that boasts of dual-SIM capabilities. We have recently seen the Pantel Penta T-Pad WS708C, which boasts of dual-SIM support and has a 1GHz Cortex A9 CPU with the Mali-400 GPU and 512MB of RAM. The device has a 7-inch display with a 480×800 pixel resolution. It has 4GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It also houses a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front facing camera. The tablet is priced at Rs. 6,999.
