BMW X6 SAC launched in India priced at Rs 1,15,00,000
The luxury German brand has launched the all-new BMW X6, the only Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) in the world, in India today and it will available at BMW dealerships across India as CBU (Completely Built-Up) units from today – the ex-showroom price of the BMW X6 xDrive40d model is Rs 1,15,00,000.
The BMW X6 SAC concept is a blend of the very best of an athletic coupe concept coupled with the dynamism of a BMW X family.
The design of the BMW X6 perfectly combines quintessential BMW X qualities with the athletic elegance of a BMW Coupe. The front view is dominated by a wide kidney grille and large front air inlets with horizontal chrome trims, horizontal lines along with rear L-shaped taillights with three –dimensional LED Adaptive Light banks emphasise the wide stance and convey a powerful, solid appearance.

The interior has a more subtle elegance than its predecessor. The sense of sportiness is generated by the hallmark BMW driver oriented design of the cockpit, the innovative control and display elements, elevated seating position and lines which streak dynamically from the instrument panel into the door panels to form a ring around the interior. Special interior colours, exclusive trims and standard Dakota or optional Nappa leather upholstery.
Despite its elegant coupe character, the all-new BMW X6 is spacious. With the seat backrest in an upright position, the luggage compartment in the BMW X6 offers 580 litres of storage space. Depending on various requirements, the three sections of the backrests can be folded down in a 40:20:40 split and offers impressive 1,525 liters of luggage space when all three sections are folded down.
The Driving Experience Control included as standard comes with an ECO PRO mode which enables additional fuel-saving features such as a coasting function ECO PRO Route, Active Cruise Control and Route –Ahead Assistant ( only with Navigation System Professional)
The BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line diesel engine boasts outstanding responsiveness and agile power delivery at any engine speed. An output of 230kW/313 hp produces a maximum torque of 600 Nm at 1,500 – 2500 rpm and accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in just 5.8 seconds to a top speed of 240 km/h.
The BMW X6 with cutting edge safety technologies provides optimal support in any situation with six airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Side-Impact protection, Electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor.
With BMW EfficientDynamics, the BMW X6 sets a high benchmark when it comes to the performance-to-fuel consumption ratio equipped with a comprehensive technology package including features such as Intelligent Lightweight Construction, Automatic Start/Stop function, Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power Steering, 50:50 Weight Distribution and many other innovative technologies.

The interior is defined by two-tone upholstery in Exclusive Nappa leather with contrast stitching available in either Cognac/Black or Ivory white/Black, Leather upholstered door panels and instrument panels with contrast stitching.
