Manufacturing Defect 🙁 Gonna return it.

Well the phone is working fine but only problem is that the voice call is not working( main ear-piece speaker – the near the front camera – is defective).

n layman terms, the other person on the voice call is able to listen but I am not able to listen to him.
I have requested for a return.
I did a software factory reset and upgraded to the latest MIUI stable upgrade version 18 (I was told by the technical support to do this).

Before this I did a hardware test, and after the upgrade, I did the hardware test again. It consistently failed the following tests:

1. Main mic speaker feedback test
2. Simulation call test
3. Top mic speaker feedback test

So, the software is fine and there is a hardware defect.

My first request for return got rejected. But I have applied again.

I am patient and believe in flipkart that they will resolve this issue as quickly as possible
and also Hope that my replacement phone will not be worse than what I have right now.
But the more extra time they take, more my trust in flipkart, regarding customer support is getting eroded. Same is with other agitated customers of this product.

Mi India I got my Mi3 yesterday. I unpacked it and checked for the product. The product is defective as it gets rebooted when turning on the camera. I tried it after resetting but still while I press the camera icon the camera doesn’t come up but the phone restarts. Requested for a return of the product from flipkart. Any thing that I need to do?? Please respond. Guys anyone facing this issue?? its been more than 18hrs and no has called from Flipkart for the return. Is flipkart so slow on this and im not sure when I will get a replaced phone or whether flipkart is going to cancel my return and ask me to use the defective product itself??

Hi,

My earpiece still gets heated up when ever I take a photo or video, even a short one for a minute. I have tried doing a factory reset, updating the software and also changing factory settings.

I got a mi3 during the first sale. As I was facing an issue with the earpiece getting heated up whenever I take a video I requested for a return. It’s been three days and I still have not heard back from the technical team.

This is my first shopping experience with flip cart and I am extremely dissatisfied.

My mi3 has some serious display issues. I cannot type the letters “H” and “B” while using the onscreen keyboard. The letters adjacent to H and B get typed constantly. I have tried a few other keyboards but the problem still persists. Also the screen undergoes random clicks at regular intervals because of which i have to lock the screen so that i don’t end up calling somebody or change some important setting accidentally.                                 

I have booked on 21st and very happy on received today but after exploring the feature I found out the display issue when I make/receive any call. My display & other operation not functioning when I attend the call additionally other issue is I have put battery charge for 10 mins but the device is too hot. Totally frustrated on this behavior, I have requested for replacement.
