Facebook adds video on Instagram
Facebook, following Twitter’s growing video-sharing app, Vine, has added a video service to its popular photo-sharing app Instagram.
Instagram’s co-founder, Kevin Systrom said that users can record 15-second clips by tapping a video icon on the app and can also apply filters to the videos to add contrast, make them black and white or different hues, Fox News reports.
Vine with 13 million users was launched in January while Instagram. Instagram was launced last year by Facebook, has 100 million users. Facebook’s move can drive mobile video sharing into the mainstream if users like it.
