Lemon Mobiles, which is a part of Fastrack communications is merely 5 years old, but is already aiming towards clocking in a turnover of Rs 500 crores. It will work towards achieving this target before the end of this fiscal year.
The manufacturer has a number of devices to its credit and has released quite a few budget-friendly smartphone ever since its conception. Its portfolio boasts of some basic phones as well as mobile accessories and memory cards amongst others. In all probability, the OEM may just manage to hit the 500 crore milestone, considering that it recorded a turnover of Rs 200 crores in the month of March this year.
Naturally, in order to achieve this goal, Lemon Mobiles will introduce a set of smartphones that are capable of taking on contenders from rival companies like Micromax, Celkon, iBall, Intex and many others that have been dominating the low-budget phone market in the subcontinent lately. One of these devices is A4, which is already out and claims to be one of the first 5-inch handsets to offer a full HD screen, designed by a homegrown conglomerate.
Here’s a short description about the aforementioned device that sets users back by Rs 17,999. The gadget measuring 8.5mm in thickness brings an IPS touch display that projects visuals in 1920 x 1080p resolution. Based on the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 platform, it employs a quad core processor ticking away at 1.2GHz and a 1,850mAh battery for a long power life.
Users can not only browse the web on 3G mobile networks, but also make video conference calls to their loved ones from miles apart. The latter is mainly facilitated by a 5MP camera which graces the front panel of the phablet. And as far as the primary snapper is concerned, it brings a 13MP sensor with all the commonly found attributes like auto focus, LED flash and the ability to record videos amongst a number of others. It arrives with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an expansion slot for a microSD card of up to 64GB capacity in tow.
We have also learned that Fastrack Communications’ Lemon Mobiles will be launching devices in the overseas market during this fiscal year’s second half.
