HTC One Nexus release set for June 26: One Nexus vs Samsung Galaxy S4 Nexus
Google is keeping its fans busy these days. HTC One Nexus release date is set for June 26. HTC One Nexus vs Samsung Galaxy S4 Nexus comparison makes interesting reading
As predicted by some sources earlier, HTC One Nexus has gone real. Both HTC and Google have officially admitted the arrival of a stock Android variant of the flagship smartphone from HTC. Earlier, talking at the AllThingsD’s D11 annual conference, Android SVP announced the handset with Nexus user experience. Later, HTC on a blog post acknowledged its arrival being a stiff opponent to the newly announced Samsung
“We’re excited to offer HTC fans and admirers alike a new experience on what we think is the best hardware available today,” HTC said. The gadget will arrive for sales on Google Play on June 26, the same day Google will start to offer the Galaxy S4 Google Edition. “Starting June 26, Google will offer a special edition of the HTC One with a “Nexus user experience” through the Google Play store,” HTC added.
According to HTC, the HTC One Nexus will keep the same innards and specs. It will mount 32GB of internal memory. That means you will get the same 1.7GHZ quad core Snapdragon 600 chipset and 2GB of RAM onboard the HTC One Google Edition. The device will come with an unlocked bootloader similar to the Galaxy S4 Nexus. It means that developers can alter the device the way they want. Initially, it will only be available in silver color only, the company said.
Surprisingly, the HTC One Nexus (32GB) is to come for just $599, i.e. $50 cheaper than its Samsung competitor. Of course, it might be a big shock for Samsung as long as both the devices are almost equally competitive in hardware other than the small screen of HTC One. Both the handsets, running on stock Android, will have nothing exceptional to show off since they are mainly different with their software and UI aspects.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Nexus Vs HTC One Nexus
See, the Galaxy S4 and HTC One have been mainly different for the native user experience and features they offer. In case of Galaxy S4, it is a brilliant handset with some of Samsung’s matchless multimedia, camera and other user-friendly features, for example Smart Pause, Smart Stay, Air Gestures and more. In case of HTC One, this handset has also grabbed name for its innovative Sense 5 and associated features like a BlinkFeed home screen, a new musical experience and more.
When they happen to run on the stock Android version, all these native UI highlights will disappear. They will have almost the same credentials as far as their software aspects are concerned, and they will have to stand apart on the grounds of their little hardware differences. If you look into their hardware, there are three main areas that we can say the S4 and HTC One are somehow different; display size, camera and form factor.
As we noted it above, HTC One has a smaller 4.7-inch FullHD display, meaning that obviously it results in better pixel density. The Galaxy S4 has a 5-inch 1080p screen at a pixel density of 441-ppi, at the same time. Regarding camera, the One has a really wonderful 4MP UltraPixel camera, which, according to HTC is able to take video and pics in better clarity. It is when the S4 sports a 13MP rear camera, which as analyzed by some specialists, works better than the 4MP UltraPixel camera of HTC One.
Finally, design wise, the One has a brilliant and eye-catching design. With its relatively smaller size, the cute design has always become a reason for the device’s public appeal in global markets. The Galaxy S4 is not falling short in form and design aspects, though. It is also featuring a nice look that any customer may fall in love with.
