Micromax launches 5-inch, Quad-core Canvas 2 Plus A110Q for Rs 12,100
As has been reported earlier, Micromax is now coming out with a new handset almost every week. On Wednesday the company added one more smartphone- Canvas 2 Plus A110Q- to its Canvas series in India which is already a phenomenal hit.
The device with 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen and MediaTek’s Quad-core processor (MT6589 chipset) is priced at Rs. 12,100.
Canvas 2 Plus A110Q runs on Android’s Jelly Bean 4.2 OS and IPS technology offers visuals in 480 x 854p resolution. It has a 2MP front-mounted webcam 8MP camera with dual LED flash. The device is compatible with most of the common A/V formats such as MP3, MIDI, AAC, MP4, MKV, 3GP and many more.
It comes with 1GB of RAM, 4GB NAND flash memory expandable up to 32GB and 2000mAh battery.
The company has announced pre-order for the Micromax Canvas 2 Plus A110Q.
Going by the frequency with which Micromax is launching Canvas series devices, it is pretty clear that it is taking Samsung and Nokia head-on in India.
With the new releases also come the speculations. In the recent past online media leaked specifications of Canvas series-A120 Canvas HD Pro which the company did not confirm. Before that Micromax had launched its first 3D, 5-inch touch screen smartphone Canvas 3D A115Canvas HD. All these devices were received well by the customers.
Few days back the company had launched Canvas Music A88 which is being offered with free JBL Tempo headset.
