Buoyed by the phenomenal success of Galaxy Grand series launched early this year, Samsung on Monday launched new smartphone Galaxy Grand Quattro in the Indian market. The dual-SIM smartphone which comes with 11.9 cm display is priced at Rs. 17,290.
The company is offering a Digital Wallet of Rs 3000 valid for 90 days applicable on Games. The company has so far launched a range of 14 Smartphone models in the price range of Rs. 5990 and Rs. 41,500.
Currently Samsung holds number one position followed by Nokia. The launch clearly indicates that the company is betting on Grand Series to further strengthen its position in India. Vineet Taneja, Country Head, Samsung Mobile said, “.Following the success of the Galaxy Grand introduced in January this year , we are confident that the Galaxy Grand Quattro will meet the needs of consumers looking for the ‘Grand’ experience in a slightly smaller display.”
Galaxy Grand Quattro runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and powered by 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor. It comes with smart multi tasking and advanced usability. It has a 5MP camera which the users with enhanced photo taking features such as Continuous Shot, Best Photo, Color Effect for enhanced photo-taking capabilities.
The device also comes with Motion UI feature by which the user can perform common actions simply by movement, for example shaking the mobile to update contents, turning it over to instantly mute the device etc.
The GALAXY Grand Quattro comes pre-loaded with ChatOn, Samsung’s cross-platform communication service that allows the users to socialize with friends and to do more than just instant messaging. It also offers ChatOn for freely sharing multimedia content.
